Artemis Dagkli

Visual artist

Artemis Dagkli follows a creative path that bridges science, education, and visual expression.

With an academic background in health sciences, she is a graduate of the Department of Medical Laboratories at ATEI and of ASPAITE, and holds a postgraduate degree in “Biomedical and Molecular Sciences in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Diseases” from the Department of Medicine. She has worked for fourteen years as a nurse in the Greek National Health System and for eight years as a secondary school teacher.

Today, as a final-year student at the School of Fine Arts, Department of Visual and Applied Arts, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, she is dedicated to exploring different forms and media of artistic creation.

Through painting, printmaking, photography, and other visual arts practices, she seeks ways to express thoughts, emotions, and concerns, exploring the relationship between people and nature, the environment, and the world around them.

For her, art is a space for personal inquiry, experimentation, and freedom: a way to observe, question, and transform everyday experience, giving it new meaning.

This portfolio brings together works and creative explorations that reflect aspects of this journey, which remains open to discovery, experimentation, and new possibilities for expression.
